Hi There,
I bought a Mydaq, it is detected on device manager and NI Max. However none of the devices from Elvismx is working, once it launches hangs.
I am using windows 7, Home Premium 64 Bits
The NI troubleshoooting utility stops working and gives me and error "Unable to locate labview run time engine"
I have fully reinstalled the software several times
Any ideas?
Thanks,
JoseV

Status Update:
I reinstalled the software suite again, but this time have done I installed it under clean boot.
After doing this the device manager shows the driver as: USB Flash Firmware Updater
I have seen on:

"Solution:
This is a known issue with USB cDAQ devices, USB X Series devices, and myDAQ. National Instruments has seen this issue with Renesas, Fresco Logic and ASMedia USB controllers, but other controllers may also be affected. If you are experiencing this problem or a similar problem, first check your USB cable connection to see if it is faulty. Otherwise, it is recommended that you update your USB Host Controller's driver. "
I do have Indeed a ASMedia USB controller: ASMedia XHCI controller
I have also tested the device with a different USB cable as the previous solution implies.
What to do now???, please help

Hi joseVidal,
I have a few questions for you which can help clarify the issue.
What device or devices are you using specifically?
Which drivers and what versions are you using?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
Seb

Hello SebSieros,
My apologies, I have solved the problem. The device driver is loaded by a service, the service did not start by default....so i started the service manually and the device manager showed the device correctly installed.
Thanks :),
