Help needed in connecting accelerometer to MyRIO

Hi guys,

I would want to acquire signal from an accelerometer (KISTLER 8776A50) to MyRIO. The accelerometer is currently connected to MyRIO via a coaxial cable, which I have obtained the positive and negative wires and connected them to MyRIO via female jumper wires.

I then generate a signal to a electromagnetic shaker, which has an aluminium plate mounted on it, and the accelerometer mounted on the plate. Using the connector C/AO0 for the shaker and C/AI0 for the accelerometer, I can get the shaker to produce the signal, which in this case, it is a sine wave at 100 Hz. However, the accelerometer does not give me the expected signal of the 100Hz sine wave, instead, I only get a 50Hz noise from the C/AI0 analog input.

I've tried to search the web on this problem, but there isn't much support on my case. I suspect something is wrong with my connection. How exactly should I connect the accelerometer? Should I connect the positive wire to C/AI0+ while negative wire to C/AI0-? Any help would be much appreciated.

As for the VI, I'm using the High Sampling Frequecy.lvproj from the examples to generate the signal to the shaker, and acquire signal from accelerometer.
