Please I need the name of a specific accelerometer type that is compatible with Agilent 34970A data acquisition/switch

The 34970A has a max samplerate of 500SPS.
So it would be fine for acceleration signals up to 200Hz.
Kister (and maybe others) build accelerometers with signal conditioners that put out something like a bandlimited RMS value proportional voltage .. I think even with a peak hold .....
What do you want to measure?
(Maybe the soundcard would fit better? )
PCB/Synotec/Modalshop/?? have an accelerometer mit USB connection that plug in as an soundcard.
piezoelectric accelerometers are commonly used together with an charge amplifier, or have it build in (IEPE) an need a constant current source of 2mA-20mA ..
But there are a lot of different types ... so bandwidth, range , size, weigth, mounting are needed informations for a recommandation.

Please, I want to measure acceleration using ADXL335 accelerometer sensor with agilent34901A and labview interface. Please how do I couple my accelerometer with the agilent.

Hi, please how do I couple my ADXL335 accelerometer sensor with Agilent 34901A so as to be able to take readings from my labview and recalibrate the sensor. Please it's urgent. Thanks

Naked sensor chip or demo board?
You need to power the Chip (3V, maybe two AA cells?) , choose a filter capacitor (aliasing , see bandwidth of your 34970A, and needed bandwidth for your measurement) and connect it according to the ADXL335 datasheet.

It's a sensor chip on breadboard, I'm just hoping it's compatible with Agilent34901A. Meanwhile I will check the datasheet for the connections.
