Real-Time System Manager

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi everyone,

How can I open the Real-Time System Manager to monitor the resourses on my myRIO project?

I've already enabled the VI Server on target.

If I select Tools -> Real-Time Module I only find "Project Wizard", "Configure Time-triggered network" and "Trace Viewer".

Thank you in advance,

Lorenzo

The 'Distributed System Manager' is a separate application/executable - you can find it, if installed, in the Start menu under the 'National Instruments' folder. If it isn't there, then you likely don't have it installed as part of your installation - re-run your LV installer and select it to install.

You can also use the System Configuration API to read the various parameters (e.g. CPU / Memory) on the target itself for doing system health monitoring.
