Use myDAQ with a Windows 10 UWP Application

Hi there,

I'm interested in integrating the myDAQ with a UWP application. With USB you can register an application to be able to talk to a specific UWP application, but I don't know how the myDAQ presents itself to the PC and what the protocol looks like. My idea is producing a set of light weight virtual instruments (rather than all the dowloads currently requried to make the myDAQ work).

I'm wondering if anyone with experience with building software to talk directly to a myDAQ would be interested in collaborating on this.

I know that most of the instrument kind USB devices works with USBTMC. Are you going to build your application with LabVIEW platform or any other language. In case of other languages, you should choose other platforms which supports VISA layer.
