Using two mydaqs to generate a three phase signal.

I am trying to hook up two myDaqs to the same computer. Each myDaq can generate only two signals at a time. If I want to generate a three-phase signal, I can use two outputs from one of those myDaqs and the other one from the other myDaq. However, to get accurate phase shifting I need to make sure that both the devices are triggered at the same time. Is there any way that I can use external triggering for myDaq. I know there are ways to do that for other DAQ devices since they have a reserved port for external triggering. How about the myDaq?

You should be able to use an external trigger even though the myDAQ’s don’t have a port reserved for triggering. Specify in your LabVIEW code (are you using LabVIEW?) that the trigger source is coming from somewhere else. You could use a single pulse out from MAX to be the trigger if you wanted.

Hi, Could you send me the picture of your LabVIEW code used to control two myDAQs with same trigger signal. The LabVIEW .vi
