myRio python installation help

Hi everyone!!!,

    I have a need to install python on myRIO for a project. Can anyone guide me to install python 2.7 in myRIO? Thanks in advance.

I myself have sorted it out. You need to change the Linux repository from the default one to national instrument's repository and then it's only a few one line command to move forward "opkg update" and "opkg install python". That's it. If you need help in detail I will be available to share it in detail by 8hrs from now

That's awesome! I still don't have experience in python but I'll be programming that language soon because a project. Have you already made a project in myRIO with python? Do you have an example? I was thinking in implement a python code to analyzing images adquiered from a webcam. Thanks for your commmets.

What IP Address did you use to ssh into the my-rio?
