Performing CAN FOR Short to GND, BATT, HI-Lo Tests using XNET ..

Hi All, Please suggest if we can perform Below Tests in XNET (Software) alone or Mixing both (HW + SW) ?

1	Short to GND ?
2	Short to Batt ?
3	Short CAN-HI to CAN-Lo ?
4	CAN termination test?	Software Termination in XNET Property ..

Those tests would all need to be done with external hardware.  So a series of relays, or a switch matrix card, could switch lines to other lines, and then you could see if the device you are trying to test recovers properly.  You may also need to reinitialize the XNet card in software after some of these too.  I've never tried shorting CAN lines to power mid test but I assume it will reset the XNet card.

But whenever I've needed to test this type of thing, the criteria for passing is just that after a key cycle the part passes the functional check.  Since these aren't tests that need to be ran often we just run them manually with with a switch box instead of trying to automate them.
