Question about the maximum number of XNET frames, and if the max value has any hardware dependencies?
- In the readme for NI-XNET 15.0, there's a note for release 1.8 which increases the maximum number of frames from 192 to 500.
- However, when I look at this XNET white paper it mentions support for 192 hardware accelerated frames under the Dedicated per-port processors section
- Additionally, a little further down, it mentions 128 frames under the Signal database support section
So which one is it?
I have an RT application running with XNET 17.0 with a PXI-8512 dual port CAN card which begins throwing the following error code: "-1074384878" after opening around ~180 frames. Which again looking at this article, says up to 500 frames should be supported
