automative priority testing

Hi,

it is very appreciated for your reply, according to your pdf file, can I say it that different chime signal has different amp and freq values, and we can judge what chime signal is playing by measuring it's amp and values?

what's more, can you kindly share the vi you use to measure chime signal' amp and freq.Thank you very much!

Please understand the following:

  1. Those measurements provide a gross functional test
    • They do not provide actual characteristics of the active waveform (Downtime/quiet time included)
    • This binning cannot handle transitions from one to another waveform/warning.
    • Provided as more of a check that things are functioning.
  2. You should first perform the following:
    • Strip out the downtime to get a single tonal block (small blocks are fine if they don't align right)
    • Read a single tonal block (Gong, Beep,...)
    • Measure that single tone characteristics
  3. For transitions
    • Grab the first and last full tonal block (provided that the transition occurs in between those points)
    • Measure the characteristics of each to verify the tonal transition

I used the SIGNAL PROCESSING -> WFM MEASURE -> TONE MEASUREMENTS express vi for the purpose of measuring frequency and amplitude.

Also note, Amplitude of the audible signal may vary.  It will be dependent on the proximity of the microphone to the speaker along with the volume of the speaker and the sound reflection/dampening in the vicinity.

Hi ,I think it will take me some time to do signal analyse work, because I am not very familiar with waveform computing.Hope I can handle it at lastSmiley Sad
