Hi Gu,
I can post the sEMG simulator for isometric sustained contractions, with changing RMS and MDF over time. It also could be added to the Biomedical Startup kit.
Let me know what you think.

Ferreira

Hi Ferraria,
Very pleased to see the VI. Thank you for sharing the codes.

what is the mathematical equation for the simulator.

Hi Mr. Gu, where can we download the Biomedical Kit Source Code version? It seems not publicly available. Only the binary version is free for download.
Cheers, Forrest

Hi Ferreira,
You have posted a model for sEMG simulation and provided an equation in this topic. And you said that it was provided by Shwedyk, Balasubramanian & Scott (1977) IEEE Trans Biom Eng 24: 417-424.
But I cannot find the equation you provided in this paper.
Could you tell me where can I find the equation?
Thanks!

Hi liuxs0,
It is an interesting question. The book "Electromyography: Physiology, Engineering, and Non-Invasive Applications" (by Roberto Merletti and Philip Parker) refers to this equation as being from the work of Shwedyk et al. 1977. I also could not identify the same equation in the original work, so probably it was derived from the Shwedyk's original study. Anyway, the equation reported in Merletti's book is again in attachment.

Arthur

Hi Ferreira,
Thank you for your reply.
I will try it.

Hi, Ferreira
I have tried to generate isometric sEMG signals by building different MUAP trains added withwhite gaussian noise artificially. But it didn't work. I want the simulated sEMG to test and verify my decomposition algorithm, I have tried to change the code of your model to generate isometric sEMG and failed. what can I do ?
