Is it possible to edit the "Simulate ECG" and/ or "Simulate EMG" Express VIs?
I would like to be able to change the functionality so that I can hook up a "adjustment knob" block to some of the parameters so that they can be adjusted from the Front Panel... instead of having to stop the VI and adjust them from the Block Diagram.
I know that normally I could make a copy of the Express VI, edit, and use the new one instead... but I keep getting an error every time I try to make a copy of this VI.
Any ideas?
Thank you.

Hi,
You could right click on the Express VI and choose Open Front Panel. then you could edit the codes.
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.
If I do that, I get a message that states, "Do you want to convert this Express VI to a standard subVI? You cannot view the configuration dialog box for this Express VI again."...
Will having this as a standard subVI change its functionality? What does it mean that I "cannot view the configuration dialog box" again mean... does that matter?

Hi,
You could double click on Express VI and config page will pop up. If you convert to a stantdard subVI, config page will not show up then. But it is okay since most of the parameters could be set via terminals in Simulate ECG/EMG VI.
Thanks!

Ok. So back to the original question: Is there a way to save a copy of this particular Express VI?
I tried doing that via the Express VI Creator. However, when I do that, I get the error, "Unable to copy an Express VI from a licensed library."
Is there another way to do that?

I don't think so. You could submit the question to LabVIEW group since it is a general question.
Thanks!
