How to convert PCG signals into Digital Pulse Rate.

I am doing my project in labview and if anyone knows how to convert Pcg signals into pulse rate please help me..

Hi,

There is an existing example in Advanced Signal Processing Toolkit. If you install it, you could find it under Toolkit -> Time Frequency Analysis -> Heart Sound TFA.vi.

This examples show you could use time frequency analysis to extract the position of each heart sound peak. Then you could convert to pulse rate using the duration between each heartbeat.

Another way is to use the Biosignal Rate Extractor in Biomedical Toolkit to extract the cycle info. Also see the example under Toolkit -> Biomedical-> Biosignal.
