A call for obfuscated LabVIEW code

For those who missed the Internet Toolkit, I have posted a full version of the Ultimate Hello World Translator in the "First message" thread. That was not the ideal place, but tst was soooo boring !.. 😉

Hint: I challenge JP to adapt his VI so it works under LabVIEW 4.1. 😉

Done! I had to use a Control since Create Constant doesn't copy the obfuscated data...

Will work on LV4.x only...

Recreational obfuscation
"Hello world!" is nothing more than a complex constant of [6.072132627989E-154 +1.512540973677E+113 i],

I call that simple cheating.. not obfuscation.. It's got to be hard to decypher.. or so crytpic that you give up analyzing it.. 😉

OK, here's my legitimate "Hello World!" Program.

It is probably possible with a little more effort to simplfy the code a bit ... but hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. 🙂

I just had to do this one -

The eventual purpose of this sentence is to spread good feelings and a peaceful atmosphere to all who read it by extending a greeting which expresses sentiments of familiarity and recognition as recognized by humans all over, from young to old, from rich to poor, to all the blue-green-brown-white whirling mass of gases, liquids and solids moving at great speeds through the black starry void, while spinning around a sphere of gas and plasma known as sol or the sun, which is called earth.

And that was, of course, an obfuscated hello world sentence.
I just had to.

I hope you don't comment you code in that fashion...

Actually, since I had LV open when the idea came up, I actually wrote that sentence as a comment in my code and only later I copied it into IE. True story.

Before we get caried away, let me remind everyone that we never actually decided what the rules should be!

Should we invite in "Info-LabVIEW" and the rest of the world? That could make this game even more challenging!

Could somebody help me figure out why the attached VI does not stop after about 20 iterations? 🙂
