During my undergrad, I was a research assistant in the physics department, which resulted in me programming in LabVIEW on a daily basis for nearly 3 years.
For my senior year, I got an IT job, so I barely touched LabVIEW and effectively took a 1 year hiatus.
Now in grad school, I just worked out the details for my thesis project.
Looks like I'm going to have to shake the rust off because we will soon be purchasing a CompactDAQ with a half dozen modules, which I will personally be responsible for setting up, writing DAQ software, data analysis software, etc.
In better news, I get to hang out on the forums a lot more now

Cory,
Glad that you are back.
Just remember that you do need to take a course now and then and work on the research for your thesis, too!
