I disagree that this is a LV problem. If I look at the OPs responses, it could imagine the same text based conversation:
OP: I need to call methodA when the user press button A and methodB when user presses button B
Helpful Idiot: You should use a if .. else .. statment
OP: I wrote if .. else .. but I got a compiler error (see attached image) what to do
Felix
PS:
Frustrated Enthusiast: There must be something wrong with your internet connection. Pleas take a nipper and cut your ethernet cable, if unsure, cut every cable.

What problem are you referring to? I have no idea what you are talking about. Please specify the source of the alleged Labview problem. Who is the Frustrated Enthusiast you are being sarcastic with?

This guy should not be using Labview or computers or even a telephone. I am surprised that he can even type.
I was refering to above. The 'best' as far as I read the thread was when he was asking for the delay. Then he dropped the express VI with the delay and did nothing (configuring the Express VI, wiring a constant) but complaining that it didn't work.

I agree that it is not a LabVIEW problem. I don't think that was what tbob was trying to say.
In this day and age, anyone studying Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Science, or even attending a college or university should have touched a computer at one point in their life.
Someone being introduced to LabVIEW, either in school or at work should have some concept of digital / binary logic and should have studied elementary school math.
Unless, by some obscure reason, it is someone playing with Lego Mindstorm and using LabVIEW with it before having been exposed to the appropriate concepts. If that's the case, then the OP should let us know what is their background.. or maybe we should ask.
But if it is someone that is clueless and has accepted a job in LabVIEW and they do not know basic concepts of computer programming (such as I have seen in the past), then maybe they ought to drown because they should not have accepted such a job in the first place.. OR they should indicate that they have no adequate background...
Unfortunately, it is not a perfect world, and what the heck, I think we all like helping people, so there's no need to get frustrated... We all had a starting point.. Well... maybe not all of us. There are a few people that were born with the LabVIEW-gene.. 😉

I cut all my cables. That didn't fix the problem. I'm still frustrated. Any other suggestions?

Have you tried TYPING IN ALL CAPS or using unnecessary bold font or even randomly changing font color like some of the obnoxious posters do when they get upset?

OK that is the first step.
Now solder them all back together end to end (no twisting allowed! No Helping hands, just use your fingers and toes if required*). Byt the time you are done with that, it will make all other frustrating experiences look like fun in comparison.

* Bonus frustration points can be experienced if you are using stranded wire.

I can't find my bluetooth solder, does anybody have some left?

Not fair. You guys are turning the Frustrating Threads thread into an unfrustrating one.
