Did you mean:

LabVIEW 2017 or LabVIEW NXG

If you were given the decision to make, which one would you choose?

I don't follow LabVIEW development much these days as I am approaching retirement.

A possible jo opportunity has come up where the company is seeking to transition from VB6 to LabVIEW.

Thoughts?

NXG is far from having the feature parity of "classic" LabVIEW.  I have not made the transition to NXG and I do not plan to for at least a few years.

NXG has cool features, and nuggets of awesome things that I can't wait to see pan out.  But today there is no question for me that current LabVIEW is what I need for the projects I do.  That being said I am evaluating the web technologies which can work well in collaboration with current gen LabVIEW stuff, as well as looking at some of my more basic stand alone projects and determining if an NXG re-write would be a good idea for them.
