Monthly Bugs, August 2011

Continued from the July 2011 bugs thread

NI Week 2011 will start any time now!!!

Most will enjoy a great conference and nobody will have time to hunt for bugs for the first week of August. I am sure most at NI are involved in the meeting and support is running on a skeleton crew. Still, bugs will show up, thus we need this thread.

The LabVIEW 2011 has been released and the shows some fantastic new features.

One is improved stability, so hopefully the number of bugs will decrease. 😄 Time to upgrade, everyone!

The posting rules are as always:

  • Each post here should only contain a brief description of a bug, together with a link to the thread where it is being discussed.
  • One post/bug!
  • One bug/post!
  • No discussion of bugs. All discussions of a bug must take place in the original linked thread.

Saving VI created in LV2011 for LV2010 with error wired to input of an OR breaks the VI. Details in this thread.

The built XY graph express VI seems to corrupt data at fast rates if placed inside a timed loop.

Selecting a case structure and pressing LCTRL-1 resizes string constants in frames that have not been viewed since the VI was opened. Happens under Windows 7 but apparently not XP. Details here.

Changing the type of a Numeric is not reflected immediately if the "New Value" is connected to an object with the original type.
