Ok, i have my new avatar, and 10 min to talk about it.

You probably all know Bender the robot. i have a splitted personality between him and Larry David 🙂

But here come the other part: in the first chapter of futurama, there is the scientist grand pa' (prof. Farnsworth), who show around his lab, with the enormous space shuttle in the back, but he is actually showing off on a bunch of  aligned wires...

So, whenever i give a talk on my work, and show a photo of the lab, instead of showing the nice stuff, i point to the aligned wires on the wall

He is one of my coworkers. too fond of C++ for my taste...
we actually made the same app for controlling the system. we are now on a competition who is going to implement this control solution in more labs worldwide. up to now we are still on equal foot, but i gain territory 🙂
