When starting to communicate to a Torque Tool Controller using Open Protocol over TCP, it is necessary to set up the TCP connection in the instconfig file in a particular way. The most common places mistakes in setting up the file are:
1. Specify the correct IP Address
2. Specify the correct TCP Port for the controller/tool to be communicated with
3. Make sure that the Service Name is left blank. Most controller will not recognize the connection even with correct IP address and port if there is a service name.
