Mechanical action to mimic Windows dialog button

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi All,

I get different correct answer for the same question. Which mechanical action of a Boolean would you use to mimic a button on a Windows dialog?

(a). Switch until released

(b). Switch when released

(c). Latch until released

(d). Latch when released

For one the correct answer is (b) and for other is (d). Because after pressing the dialog button it returns to its false default state should be (d).

Is (d) the correct answer?

Thank You!

Hi,

As far as I know, no dialog button on Windows has a switch behavior, it is only latch.

And if you test it yourself you will see that the "action" is only taken into account when the button is released.

So yes, for me d) is the correct answer.
