I m trying count the pulses that cames from a PHOTOMULTIPLIER (PMT) when I use a counter0 to count during for example une second I dont have any kind of problem. The problem appears when I want gate this counter with the output of the counter1. For example if I creat a square wave with duty cicle of 0,5 ,frequency of 10000 and the number of samples per chanel of t 10000 and if I use this sqare wave to be the gate of the counter0 I have a number of counts completly diferent for the case when I use only one counter during une second(a big big value comparativetly to the case where I use only un counter). Where can be the problem and how can I solve it?The reason why I want use the counter1 as a gate is because I wante have information of the number of pulses vs Time during for example une second.
