Getting error -1074118570 when running Start PTP and wait for Quality.vi example code for NI PCI 1588 card. LabView 7.1, NI Sync 2.0.1

I'm getting error -1074118570 when running the "Start PTP and Wait for Quality.vi" example code for the NI PCI 1588 card using LabView 7.1, NI Sync 2.0.1 running under Windows XP. Error message states Possible Reason(s): Driver Status: (Hex 0xBFFA4056) The IP address for the specified device cannot be determined, and, therefore, the specified operation cannot be completed.

I am able to ping the master clock on the network and it is working with other vender cards.

If the start PTP vi is removed from the sample code the example will read the time from the 1588 card.
