multichannel synchrobized counter output daqmx C#

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello John,

I know almost know the examples you mentioned by heart but solutions using these strategies are probably very cumbersome In any case, finding a solution to this problem is on the backburner for now since I am facing another, more urgent one... :s

Most likely I will give this one a go with an X series board we're going to buy anyway (I think buffered CO would solve the matter relatively easily)...

All in all I do find it strange that I cannot seem to find any X series specific code examples anywhere. Are new X series features (such as buffered CO, ...) already  supported in the Daqmx .NET API?? There are no specific text based examples in the latest Daqmx distributions afaik. Or am I missing something?

Having some of these examples would be great to get familiar with the new features.

Support for buffered counter writes was not yet included in DAQmx 9.0 for .Net, but should be out very soon. The next update to DAQmx will include support.

Thanks,

Cool, I was expecting as much... Many nightly sessions with .NET reflector did not yield anything useful 🙂

Are there betas of the new API (and some way to sign up for them or something)?

Unfortunately we're not doing a beta for this. We should be releasing in early October and I'll make sure to update this post when we do.

Cheers,

Andrew
