How to acquire analog and digital signals simultaneously?

I got a NI 9212 Thermocouple device and a NI 9421 (8Ch digital Input) device placed in a NI cDAQ-9174 Chassis. I like to acquire signals from both devices simultaneously. How can I do that in one Task?  In DAQExpress I can only choose one type of signals at ones.

I have nearly the same problem.

I could not find a solution to acquire analog and digital input signal with the same sampling rate.

I put the digital and the analog task in the same while loop.  The analog input performed with the maximum sampling rate really  well. But the digital task could acquire only one sample per channel per loop. this is in my case only a sampling rate of 100 Hz.

I used NI USB-6289 and DAQExpress V2.0
