Analog signal output from .csv-file

Hello everyone,

I am new to the topic and has about zero experience with DASYLab or other similar programs, so I hope you could help me.

I have a USB-3103 FS output device connected to a PC and an oscilloscope. Also, there is a .csv file with measurement data stored in it. I have installed DASYLab and it allready recognizes the hardware device (USB-3103 FS).

I wish to put the signal stored in the .csv file out on the oscillosope using DASYLab. What do I have to do? If it is not possible, what are other simple ways to do it (assuming that I have zero programming experience with VBA, .NET framework and only a little experience with C and C++)?

I sencerely hope that you could help me with this one.

DASYLab is not owned by National Instruments so NI does not support it anymore.

I recommend you to follow the instructions in the pinned post to get timely support.

However, it is possible that you receive an answer for your question in this forum if a DASYLab user is going to reply.

Having said that, the USB-3101FS is a Measurement Computing device, and you will get the best technical support by contacting Measurement Computing directly. 

DASYLab cannot read a CSV file where the data separator is a comma. If you replace all of the commas with semicolon ";" or TAB, then DASYLab can read it with the Read Data module.  How many samples in the file? What sample rate? Do you want to output once and stop, or repeat? 

You should be running the latest release of DASYLab with the latest MCC driver (13.4) for best results. 

In addition, there are example programs that were installed that include Analog Output examples in C, VB, VB.net and C#.
