Can Measurement Time be reset without stopping?

I have a worksheet that displays my active data when I press the "Start" button, but only saves data when the "Save" button is pressed (using and Action module and Relay). This way I can view the sensor levels before starting a test. The measurement time is saved in the data files. Since measurement time starts incrementing with the Start button, the time in my data file is the time accrued until the "Save" button is pressed. I have tried using the Action to reset a Time Base module ("measurement time" and "X-Base") but have had no luck.

Is there a way to reset the measurement time when the Save button is pressed?

Now you're getting complicated. 

I would use a Statistics/Counter module to count time high in seconds, reset on the next edge, and store that value into the file as the time stamp. Disable the Write module time channel.
