Wanted to see if anyone can confirm this behavior:
Anytime I do a save or a save as to Excel using XLR8 the newly saved xlsx data file will have the "set precision as displayed" checkbox marked. This box is found in Excel by going to file, options, advanced, and scroll down to the "When calculating this workbook:" section.
This is scary because with that box checked anytime you read that spreadsheet it will only give you the number that is displayed (as it is formatted), not the actual value of the cell.
Attached is a simple vi that can be used for testing, it just writes random data to a file.
I am using LabVIEW 2014 with XLR8 version 2.3.1.7 and Excel 2013.
