Hi,
I'm having some issues with 2D bar charts in my Diadem Report.
Diadem Version: 20.1.0f7908 Service Pack 1
What am I trying to do:
I am doing some calculations with Diadem Script for each channel group.
Each channel group represents a measurement.
So this is how my data looks like:
ChannelGroup1:
xChannel (value = 1)
yChannel (value = 1)
ChannelGroup2:
xChannel (value = 2)
yChannel (value = 2)
Each channel has just ONE value in it. I am using curve expansion to plot all channelgroups.
So my bar chart looks like this: */xChannel | */xChannel
This is what I expected as result:
And this is what I get as result:
And it doesn't make any sense. Why is Diadem plotting the data over the whole x-axis?
Changing the width of the bars, doesn't have any impact at all!
Even changing the scaling of the x-axis doesn't have any impact - it looks completely the same, just with different numbers at the x-axis.
You may be wondering, how I made the upper plot then?
I added more data to the channels and changed the scaling of the x-axis manually, so that you don't see the other data...
That's how it looks like (the upper plot) with automatic scaling:
So, is there any hidden option to avoid this malfunction?
Btw: Do you want to see another funny bug?
Use the data of the last plot, but change the x-values to negative values and Diadem will randomly change the width of the bars:
You can see that the black bar is smaller than the red bar.
And I didn't change anything than the data.
