Hello,
When I export CAN data from CANalyzer, I usually choose .BLF and I'm able to choose the 'Vector BLF' file type in the Bus Log Converter and things work great.
If I export the CAN data as .MF4 I can't get the data to import to the Data Portal. I have a plugin for .MF4 but when I drag and drop it just give me one group with two channels, each of which are a length of one. If I go through Bus Log Converter and I choose ASAM MDF4 I can load the database and import as I would with the .BLF but I only get 2 messages out of about 50 I would expect. With either method I don't get faults or errors. I'm just missing most/all of the data.
I have work-arounds if needed when I get sent .MF4 data but I feel like I should be able to read a .MF4 directly.
Additionally, if I check the file with Vector MDF Validator, it shows it as MDF4Lib, ver 4.1.
Thanks

It sounds like you're having trouble importing .MF4 files into the Data Portal. Here are a few suggestions: MyChart - Login Page
Check Compatibility: Ensure that the Data Portal and the plugin you're using are fully compatible with MDF4Lib version 4.1.
Update Software: Make sure that both your Data Portal and the plugin are updated to the latest versions, as updates often include bug fixes and improvements.
Use Bus Log Converter: Since you've had success with the Bus Log Converter for .BLF files, try using it for .MF4 files as well. Ensure you select the correct file type (ASAM MDF4) during the import process.
