Is DQMH a Framework or a Template?

Hey,

I've noticed that in their own documentation, they write this: "The DQMH® Project Template is based on....".

But on many other places in this Forum or for example in the LabVIEW Wiki it is referenced as Framework.

In my opinion it is a framework because of the many scripting tools, but why do they see themselves as a project template?

It's a framework, but the DQMH consortium also provides a project template based on the franework.

You'll see many pieces of a large puzzle, this package is a project template based on DQMH framework : https://www.vipm.io/package/delacor_lib_qmh_project_template/

thanks for your interest in DQMH and for bringing this up.

DQMH has been around for some time, and over the years, many things changed: Features of DQMH, vocabulary being used in the community, how we work with DQMH...

Today, the DQMH Consortium uses the term "framework" when talking about the entirety of DQMH (modules, scripting, ...).
