Just to be clear, the proposal is to allow DAQmx Scales to be copied.
My immediate thought is "Why can you not just use the same scale for the different tasks?"

I had a situation lately where I needed separate scales for 8 different torque sources. they were all similar in scale format, only one value needed to be changed for each scale. It just would have saved time if I could create copies and modify them, rather than start from scratch for each scale.
Ah, I see it now. MAX does not have an option to duplicate a scale. At the risk of expanding this idea, you cannot duplicate a task either. I'm not even seeing an option in the Hardware Configuration Utility to create a task or scale yet. But I completely agree that this would help.
