ni.com/products should allow you to narrow search by boards that provide excitation, allow for external excitation, and do not allow for external excitation

I'm writing a paper on different sensors and how to choose the correct sensor when trying to measure a physical phenomenon.  Customers are going to want to search for boards that provide exciation or allow for external exciation, and I don't yet see that as an option on ni.com/products when narrowing a search of our products.  Does anyone else think this is a good idea?

I have noticed that the search functions for both devices and software often do not allow me to select parameters which are of interest.

For example in responding to a posting on one of the Forums recently I wanted to find analog input devices which could sample at >= 10MS/s.  No one search found both multi-function DAQ devices and high speed digitizers, but devices in either category would have satisfied my needs.

Look at the parametric search functions on some electronics distributors and some semiconductor manufacturers' web sites.  A few are quite good, while others tend toward awful.  Unfortunately, NI's site is not very good.
