Hello. I am trying to interface a denso VP-6242G with imaging Lab. I get an error at the get speed VI, and the error code is 9002.
It says robslave.pac is not running, is there a way to find out if it is running?
thanks for the help.

You will find task related VIs under the "Tasks" pallet. The one you need is "Status Get". It takes a task name
as an input and outputs the current state of the task.
You should input "ROBSLAVE". The output state should indicate that the task is running ('Run').
You can use the RobSlave vi to start and stop RobSlave. Motion related functions require RobSlave
to be running.

Thanks Alexander,
It did not fix my my problem. Here is a picture of the errors. This might help a little more. If not i can post a pictue of the program.
Thanks again

It still seems you have not started the RobSlave task.
Before executing commands like MOVE and reading/writing the speed you
have to make sure that RobSlave is running.
If starting RobSlave fails you might have either not set the "Step-Stop" signal
or have not enabled the "Mini I/O all general" option. The latter one is available
if you have software version 2.90 or later and can be activated by putting in the
extension id "6319" (restart required).
If you still cannot getting it work you could send the block diagram.

Hi Alexander,
I think I have more or less the same problem when trying to run 07 - DRL_Teaching_Example.vi from the DENSO Robotic Library samples.
I have the following message: Robslave.pac is not running...
But I don't know how to " set the "Step-Stop" signal or have not enabled the "Mini I/O all general" option." as you wrote.
Can you please tell me more about that?
Thanks
Luc

Hi Luc,
basically there are two options as described in a previous post.
The simplest would be to input the extension ID "6319". You need
to access the settings on the Teaching Pendant and just type in
the ID. Do not forget to restart the controller.
If your controller software version is too old (and you cannot get an
update) you need to do some wiring in order to set the STEPSTOP
signal permanently to "ON". Please refer to the DENSO manuals
that describe how to do that.

Hi Alexander,
Thanks a lot it works now.
(When in Extension menu I didn't see the line "F5 to Input new function")
best wishes

Hey Luc, can I have the application as you had shown in the error figure? I will very appreciate it, thank you.
