9477 usage for 10 Amp motor

Hi all,

 

can i use 9477 , by making 10 channels in parallel and connecting to a motor that draws 10 Amp, 12vdc, i have an external supply voltage (tenergy battery pack 12Vdc, 10,000 mAh, i am connecting 3 battery packs in parallel to make 30,000 mAh ) that will give power to motors Vsup,  this will also supply the compactRIO also that holds the 9477 digital out sinking module.

 

is this scheme ok without damaging the CRIO and modules

 

plz help

Hi there,

 

Basically, you just need to make sure that the 9477 does not draw more than .625 A per channel. As far as the cRIO, which model are you planning to use? If this is the 9074, then you will find the power requirements on page 22 of the manual found on this link:
