Hello,
I am using PXIe-6570 cards and the digital pattern editor and I am looking to measure the frequency of a digital pulse train coming from the UUT. I know i can run a capture pattern and post-process the data, but is there a more direct way I can get an easy frequency measurement using the digital pattern editor?
Thank you,
Jppb

Yes, you can use the frequency counter on a pin to measure frequency.
Note that this can be done only when a pattern is not executing.

I see, interesting! Is there any way to call this functionality from C#, or TestStand? Ultimately I would like this to be part of an automated test, rather than just a human-in-the-loop bench test.
Thank you,
Jppb
