Hi everybody,
I have an NI USB 6501 card, which I use very well in python on Windows. but I would now like to switch to Ubuntu while using my python code.
To do this I find that the NI USB 6501 card was managed via the NI DAQ mx driver base Linux and not by NI DAQ mx Linux. However, I have an installation problem.
To install Ni daq mx base, i have to install firstly nivisa. So,I made the command sudo ./Install in the nivisa file. but there is an error (picture1).
So, then, i made the command sudo ;/install --nodeps, the install start but there is also errors (picture 2 and 3).
I’ll keep looking, but I have no idea at the moment. If someone has already had this problem or knows how to solve it, I am interested.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
Here is the list of supported operating systems compatible with NI DAQmx base (info can be seen on the NI-DAQmx Base download page under the Supported OS expanded menu):
SUSE
Scientific Linux
RedHat
CentOS
Have you tried to use one of these operating systems to install the driver?
