Hi all,
I have a 9205 analog input module, and in the past was able to read two single-ended analog inputs around 2.7-2.8 V correctly, on a Ethernet RIO 9148.
However recently the module has stopped reading the correct voltages, and I am puzzled as to why this is.
I can confirm that the voltages measured at the terminals are around 2.7 V (between the AI pins and COM) with the module plugged in, but in the NI Distributed System Manager the values are showing up as around 6.7-7.0 V.
In terms of configuration:
In the LabVIEW project, all the pins are configured for Referenced Single-Ended (RSE) Measurements, in the +/- 10 V range.
Is there any way the module itself is functioning incorrectly/faulty? Nothing I can think of has changed hardware side, and as I mentioned, in the past I could read these voltages correctly.
Regards

Hi Dxydas,
It sounds like you might have a faulty module, please give us a call on (+44) 1635 523 545 so we can handle this one promptly for you.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply.
I tried the same test with a spare 9205 module we also have, and had the same result. I double-checked that the channels were configured in the right mode (RSE, +/- 10 V).
My next thought is to try plugging the module into a different slot on the NI 9148.
In addition, I also have a cRIO 9038 which I could use to test if the same issue appears on a different controller.
I will update you once the above has been tried.
Regards,
Dimitris
