Hi,
I am using NI 9401 module as part of a throttle body control / data acquisition platform with a cRIO 9053.
I have found in other posts that the NI 9401 has a built in 47 Kohm pull-down resistor.
Does it include a Schmitt trigger for squaring up the waveforms?
The reason I ask, is our existing SENT interface circuits include a Schmitt trigger, as many SENT sources are not very square.
The NI 9403 module indicates a pull-down resistor and Schmidtt trigger are included - but this note is not the N9401 doc.
The 9401 and 9403 doc both include the same block diagram of protection and buffer circuitry.
I chose against the NI 9403 module as it's update rate is 7usec - too slow for the 3usec clock rate for the SENT signals that need to be read (NI 9401 is 0.1 usec).
Thanks!
