UBS-6525

I am using the USB6525 (8 inputs and 8 outputs) currently with 6 inputs and 8 outputs for my application.  If I need to expand past 8 outputs, what would be my options?  Is it possible to daisy chain USB6525 together, or would I need to look at a different DAQ device?

You could just use another USB-6525, and control them independently. Is there a reason for your question about daisy chaining?

Thanks for the response, will likely just order another USB-6525.  Only reason I asked about daisy chaining or connecting them together is that I have also worked with Click PLCs that have add-on modules that can give you extra inputs and outputs.  I was wondering if NI had something similar, but getting a second USB-6525 will work fine.

Okay, if you purchased cDAQ with extra free slots, you can add more modules as needed.

Since you have a USB-6525, which was not meant to be expandable, the only way is to switch to cDAQ or buy another USB-6525.
