DMM4060 doesn't function well for certain tests

We use TS2.0/CVI6.0/DMM Driver 2.1 for PC testers running on production line. We experienced problems with DMM 4060 card on two testers.
 
For one PC tester, after the DMM card fails a 'AC Voltage' test, then it would fail the 'Resistor Value' test for all following products. And we have to close the Test Stand SW package, and relaunch it. Then the card will read the 'Resistor Value' correctly.
 
For another PC tester, sometimes the DMM card got problem reading a 'DC Voltage'. After debugging and checking, we found the product DC voltage output reached the DMM terminals, but the DMM card just didn't pick it and feedback 'zero' readings.

Hi Ed,

After discussing this problem on the phone with you it appears that the 4060's in both test machines are faulty and need to be repaired. Please call back when you are ready to begin the RMA process.

I do want to add that we can't rule out a software or other external error because we cannot pull the devices off the production line or do any type of self testing due to the facility location. Doing a device self-test, testing the functionality of the drivers, and swapping out the boards for other boards that are known to be good would be the first steps we should try if we are able to stop production.

Doing an RMA at this point MAY solve the problem but we cannot be entirely sure.

For the 2nd problem listed above, we have to add a "Reset" command to the card in the software if the card can not read the "DC Voltage" first time, and then ask the card to have a 2nd try. In this way, the card can pick it up and feedback the right value. Such kind of "Reset" wouldn't help on the 1st problem though.
 
Before we had two cards that couldn't read any current consumptions at all and had to send them back to NI. Obviously the software driver for that card has some problems too.
 
Anyway, this "reset" setting is kind of abnormal requirement. We still don't know the root cause of these two problems, either from hardware or software driver point of view.

Hi Ed,

Have you been able to verify the cause of these errors?  We won't know the cause of the issue unless we can troubleshoot the 4060s.  Please let me know where this issue stands!
