number of samples

When i want to generate a signal with labview via NI USRP 2901, I should precise the number of samples.

But I didn't know how can i choose it. It depends on what? and what is the influence of choosing a higher one or a less one?

The number of samples parameter affects how long the acquisition will take. A large number of samples will take a long time to acquire and process.
