Can 2009 driver station work with 2010 robot and code?

Last year our team bought an additional cRio and driver station, so we had an available cRio for this year's competition.  If we were to flash last year's cRio with the new updates and deploy code using this years Labview, will the 2009 driver station (blue box) still function?

Out of curiousity, why would you want to do this, since the new Driver Station is entirely software?  You don't need the classmate to run it, it should work fine on any other machine with the LabVIEW Run-Time installed as long as the IP address matches the one that would normally be assigned to the classmate.

Yes you can run this year's code with the old blue Driver Station - it will work.

You can also definitely run this years software Driver Station on another PC.

However, keep in mind you can only use the classmate in competition.

We have the control panel from last year for demonstrations, and the blue driver station is a part of that.  We will be running the 2009 bot with the station.
