If your camera does not have built in WiFi capability you will need to connect the Ethernet port to a WiFi router. WiFi networks using TCP/IP are no different from Ethernet except that one uses signal over wire and the other uses signal over radio. In the case of a robotic application as long as your robot communicates over WiFi using TCP/IP, and you have an available port on the robot that you can plug your camera into then you should be able to rout the images through your robots WiFi connection.
Please note that this is a theoretical application, I have not tested any of the above statements. Please let me know how you solve this problem.
