Labview WPI I2C lib with 2nd gen LidarLite

Hi everyone,

We have had pretty good success with the original LidarLite using Labview and the RoboRIO. We recently picked up a new LL that is a "Gen 2" or "blue label" model. While similar to the v1, it does not seem to be plug compatible with v1...when we use a known good v1 we get good data, when we plug in a v2 we get nothing.

Corresponding with the PulsedLight team they are suggesting that perhaps the WPILib is using a "repeated start" while the device needs a "stop then start" event. Any help here would be good as well.

Hello,

We have been experimenting with the LidarLite v2 this build season, and are having the same problem as you. No matter what we try, we cannot seem to read any values from the LidarLite (connected to the I2C port on the RoboRIO) in Labview. Did you ever solve your problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
