Problems with DashboardEnable.ctl

To Whom it may Concern,

My name is Nick Herge, and I am currently an undergrad at James  Madison University. The professor whom I work for is putting on a  LabVIEW / Robotics teaching session for high school teachers, and we are  planning on spending lots of time talking about FRC  robots. So we have been familiarizing ourselves with a 2010 FRC robot  from a local high school.

My problem lies with <DashboardEnable.ctl>. As per the  Dashboard Tutorial ( http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-8862 ), page  12, I've updated the DashboardEnable type definition. However, when I  run the whole project I cannot determine how to control  any of the values in <DashboardEnable.ctl>, so the boolean that I  add is always false.

If you know how to address this problem, or if you could direct me  to someone who could, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for  your time.

If you right click on the control, you can set the current value to default.
