We lost our vision in the FIRST Robotic regional when the field software was updated. The problem seemed to be between Labview, the FRC field software, and the driver station. The only solution we found was to write a program that would not allow Labview to reassign ports. We did not get to test out the fix. A fix is late for us this year but could help someone else or in the future.
