We downloaded the FTC Software this summer and were using it on the 30 day license. We didn't receive our registration kit (even though we were registered on 8/21) and now our trial has run out and we cannot start the 2013 FRC software. The software will no longer accept the FRC Serial number. FTC now says they shipped our registrations, but they will not arrive until next week.
Does anyone have a work around, other than buying a second computer. We can't really afford to do that.
Thanks,

Hi again, we were able to test FRC code with the code you gave us. But when it came to deploying to the CRIO it would not go.
This is about a three week old issue, sorry we had not had time to post it. In the meantime our FRC programming team took off with java and are making great progress. The laptop we were using for deployment is the same computer the FTC teams have to use so we kept going with those two teams. We have experienced many of the motor identification issues, in the "Code Generation" string, so we have uninstalled and reinstalled LabVIEW for FTC a couple of times.
Just to let you know the fix provide did not allow us to deploy code to the CRIO.
Thanks for your assistance.

To clarify
The FTC Software: LabVIEW for LEGO MINDSTORMS 2012 and the MINDSTORM Competition toolkit will allow you to target a LEGO NXT with LabVIEW.
The LabVIEW FRC 2013 Software: LabVIEW 2012, Real-Time module, Vision module... will allow you to target the cRIO with LabVIEW.
The Real Time Module is required to target and program a cRIO. You can install the NXT Module ontop of LabVIEW FRC and target both platforms from one system. The New LabVIEW FRC will release on FRC Kick off day.
