We are trying to change from using a servo to control the position of a arm to a motor with an encoder. We have code that changes the position of the servo whenever a given button on the joystick is pressed that works. We replaced the servo with a motor/encoder combination. It moves as expected when we use the Schematic Editor to test it, so we are pretty sure it is wired up correctly. We put a Move Motor A Certain Distance VI (I don't remember the actual name of the VI right now) in the same frame for the joystick button as described above. But the motor doesn't move.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Do you see any difference in behavior if you set the VI to wait instead of returning immediately?
