Adding pictures to posts--only adds at beginning

I have noticed when I attach a picture and do the standard steps...

1. click on attachment

2. copy link

3. insert picture from another site

it always inserts my picture at the beginning of my message, no matter where my cursor is. I then have to drag the image down to where I want it within my post. Is there a way around having to do this and have it automatically insert where my cursor is? I believe it used to do this.

Actually, I reported this here.  Laura said she reported to Lithium, but they haven't fixed it yet.

It did work properly before the forum upgrade.  The image used to be inserted at your cursor position.

I this this bug is iritating enough to repeat.

This is a real pain specialy since the edit window is small to begin with so its hard to get it moved.

I want it fixed as well.

The last update I see is that this was confirmed as a bug and will be fixed in an upcoming minor version of the software.  I'm checking to see if I can get an idea of when that might be.

Thanks,

Laura

Noticed this the other day......the window can be resized Smiley Happy Have a look at the lower right corner. Makes life a TON easier to move the picture

That's interesting. For once, I am not affected by a strange bug 😄

I can't say that I've seen the behavior.

Which browser do you use?

I see it in both IE7 and IE8.

Yes, the problem doesn't exist in Firefox, only IE.  I'm taking this opportunity to make sure this is still on Lithium's radar and scheduled for a fix.

Thanks,

Laura
